1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lttr, operated by getlttr (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Lttr is an AI-powered document management application that allows you to scan, upload, organize, and understand your physical mail and documents. Features include document scanning, AI-powered summarisation, due date tracking, and push notifications.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Lttr. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You may register using an email address and password, or via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@getlttr.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to Lttr. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell or share your documents with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI Processing

Lttr uses AI models (including Amazon Bedrock) to analyse and summarise your documents. AI-generated summaries, due dates, and categorisations are provided for convenience only and may contain errors. You should not rely solely on AI outputs for time-sensitive or financial decisions. We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of Lttr is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

9. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we will send you alerts about important mail, upcoming due dates, and weekly digests. You may disable push notifications at any time from the Settings page. Standard data rates from your device carrier may apply.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep Lttr available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability.

11. Free Service; No Warranties

Lttr is currently provided free of charge. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, getlttr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed $100 USD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless getlttr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@getlttr.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
